Mysore to Bangalore is about 145 km on the Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway (NH 275), one of the busiest KSRTC corridors in Karnataka. KSRTC runs 39 online-bookable buses a day on this route, from 12:50 AM to 10:30 PM: EV Power Plus electric AC buses (₹451), Airavat and Airavat Club Class Volvo buses (₹452–₹551), Rajahamsa Executive (₹275–₹285), Karnataka Sarige (₹225), and Pallakki and Ambaari Dream Class sleepers (₹439–₹563). Most buses reach Bengaluru in 2½ to 4 hours, dropping at Mysore Road Satellite Bus Station, Kengeri TTMC, Majestic and Shantinagar. Non-reservable ordinary buses also leave Mysuru bus stand through the day.

Travel Tips
- EV Power Plus electric AC buses (₹451) are the quietest option and among the fastest, at about 2¼ to 3½ hours via the expressway.
- For the cheapest reserved seat, take Rajahamsa Executive (₹275–₹285) at 04:00 AM, 04:00 PM or 07:00 PM, or the Karnataka Sarige at 06:05 PM (₹225).
- If you are going to west or south Bengaluru, get off at Kengeri TTMC or Mysore Road Satellite Bus Station and take the metro instead of riding into Majestic traffic.
- Evening buses between 05:00 PM and 08:00 PM fill fastest on Fridays and Sundays. Book a day ahead; weekday mornings are easier.
Best time to travel: The route runs well all year thanks to the expressway. October to February is the most pleasant season; during Mysuru Dasara (October) buses are crowded, so book in advance.
